We are currently looking for a Cost Consolidation Expert to join our team in Rabat. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in cost management within the automotive industry and a solid understanding of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) components and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise & Cost Management

• Provide technical expertise in vehicle-level cost management, including the definition, tracking, and control of technical costs and investment/tooling budgets.

• Develop and manage cost targets aligned with the vehicle’s overall business case.

• Analyze complex cost data and balance technical performance against cost constraints to support informed decision-making.

2. Product Lifecycle & Process Knowledge

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the automotive product lifecycle.

• Navigate and apply corporate change management processes effectively.

3. Project & Budget Management

• Apply proven project management skills focused on milestone achievement, budget control, and cost accountability.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across engineering, finance, procurement, and program management.

• Communicate clearly and confidently at all levels of the organization, including with senior leadership.

5. Leadership & Influence

• Lead initiatives in a matrixed environment, demonstrating the ability to influence and drive results without direct authority.

Required Competencies:

• Develop component-level cost targets, applying vehicle top-down budget allocation.

• Understand and apply reference vehicle data and Low-Cost-Country savings to EBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials) component-level data.

• Comprehensive understanding of vehicle construction by systems (Body, Chassis, Powertrain, Interior, etc.) and subsystems (Underbody, Suspension, Trim, Cooling, HVAC, etc.).

• Knowledge of vehicle part breakdown and assembly processes.

• Ability to identify and organize technical commodities by their functional purpose.

• Propose design alternatives to meet and exceed aggressive cost targets.

• Lead cross-functional team reviews of cost status to target, component sourcing, and governance cost report-outs.
