Dealership Driver - Independent Contractor

Location: Parks Motor Group of Gainesville -Ford-Lincoln-Hyundai
Compensation: Paid Per Delivery / Paid Per Trade (1099 Contractor – Not W2)

We are seeking dependable, professional Independent Contractor Drivers to assist with vehicle deliveries to customers and dealer trades between dealerships.

Position Summary:

As a 1099 Dealership Driver, you will transport new and pre-owned vehicles between our dealership, customer locations, and partner dealerships. You will represent the dealership’s professionalism while ensuring safe, timely vehicle transfers.

Responsibilities:

  Safely drive and deliver vehicles to and from dealerships, auctions, customer homes, and other destinations

  Complete dealer trades by transporting vehicles and required paperwork between dealerships

  
  


• 
  

  Perform vehicle inspections before and after transport (check for damage, fuel levels, mileage)

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain communication with dispatch or dealership coordinator regarding delivery status

  
  


• 
  

  Follow all traffic laws and dealership protocols for vehicle handling

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Valid driver's license with clean driving record

  
  


• 
  

  Must be 21 years of age or older (insurance requirements)

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle report (MVR)

  
  


• 
  

  Professional appearance and courteous demeanor

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to handle long-distance driving and local trips

  
  


• 
  

  Must have a smartphone for communication and navigation

  Must operate as an independent contractor and provide appropriate tax documentation (W9)
