Summary
We are hiring two temporary Dental Hygienists to serve as temporary floating clinicians supporting a community dental program. Candidates must hold a current, valid Texas Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of application, be very comfortable with frequent travel, and Spanish\-speaking candidates are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide preventive dental care and oral health education in mobile and community settings.
- Perform assessments, prophylaxis, scaling/root planing as indicated, fluoride applications, and sealant placement when required.
- Accurately document patient care and maintain records per program protocols.
- Rotate assignments across program sites based on operational needs.
- Support community outreach, school screenings, and public\-health events.
- Maintain infection control, sterilization, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with dentists, program coordinators, and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
