Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)
Duration:12 Months

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager – Retail Analytics to lead end-to-end product management for analytics platforms and data-driven solutions. This role is responsible for defining product strategy, driving execution, and delivering measurable business outcomes through advanced analytics, data products, and insights that enhance retail performance and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive end-to-end product lifecycle management for analytics products, platforms, and major feature enhancements, with full accountability for delivery and outcomes.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology leaders to conduct market, customer, and technical research to identify analytics needs, data gaps, and opportunities.
  • Define, maintain, and communicate a clear product roadmap aligned with business goals, data strategy, and customer value.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineering, analytics engineering, data science, and UX teams to translate business needs into detailed product requirements, KPIs, and scalable data models.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, delivery timelines, and analytics performance.
  • Define high-impact customer and user segments; build data-driven business cases to prioritize initiatives and maximize ROI.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure analytics investments deliver measurable business value and actionable insights.
  • Establish and track success metrics, continuously monitoring performance of analytics products, dashboards, and growth initiatives.
  • Drive innovation in analytics solutions by leveraging advanced reporting, experimentation frameworks, and predictive analytics.
  • Build strong relationships across business and technology teams to ensure adoption, scalability, and sustained usage of analytics products.
  • Conduct business and financial analysis, including demand forecasting, KPI tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging analytics technologies, and vendor solutions; manage vendor relationships where applicable.
  • Leverage analytics and data platforms to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and improved customer experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, with a strong focus on analytics/data products.
  • Mandatory experience in Digital Retail / eCommerce environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering data-driven products and analytics platforms at scale.
  • Strong understanding of data ecosystems, including data engineering, data warehousing, BI tools, and data science workflows.
  • Experience defining and tracking product KPIs, experimentation frameworks, and ROI metrics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with retail analytics (customer behavior, merchandising, pricing, supply chain analytics).
  • Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Tableau/Power BI, A/B testing platforms, and cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven analytics and personalization use cases.
  • MBA or equivalent business/technical education is a plus.
