EHS Specialist

For EHS services in the manufacturing area. 

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor Degree in Science, Engineering or related field and at least five (5) years of experience in EHS activities within the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish
• Soft Skills: Great attitude and strong desire to learn new skills. 
• Shift: Administrative, and according to business needs. 
• Experience in:
  • Ergonomics 
  • Industrial Hygene

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Ensure EHS compliance through inspections, risk identification, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Manage the ergonomics program by conducting evaluations and following up on improvements.
• Support the ISO 45001 system and ensure regulatory compliance and applicable permits.
• Conduct audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments to reduce workplace hazards.
• Provide EHS training, including new employee orientation, and maintain up-to date certifications.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering on process changes to ensure safe and compliant practices.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and emergency response organizations.
