Enrichment Specialist

Description

The YMCA’s Power Scholars Academy is hiring Enrichment Specialists to lead engaging summer programming for middle school students. Help scholars discover new interests in Arts, STEM, Physical Activity, Nature, Nutrition, and Career Readiness while building confidence and academic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead hands-on enrichment activities
   
• Mentor and supervise scholars (grades 6–8)
   
• Collaborate with staff to support a safe, fun learning environment
   
• Support field trips, special events, and project-based learning
   

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; some college preferred
   
• Experience working with youth (especially middle school age)
   
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
   
• Passion for education and youth development
   

This is a seasonal temp position that starts  July 2 - August 15, Monday - Friday 8am-2:30pm
