Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Production/IT Technician to support the assembly, configuration, and testing of network appliances and related hardware. This role involves hands-on work with IT hardware, performing low-level functional testing, and supporting basic network setup tasks. The ideal candidate is technically inclined, eager to learn, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment. This is a contract lasting until end of 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly and configuration of network appliances and IT systems
- Perform basic hardware diagnostics and low-level functional testing
- Flash firmware and install operating systems or custom images on devices
- Connect and configure equipment in test environments (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)
- Document and report testing results and hardware issues
- Support inventory tracking and labeling of components and completed units
- Maintain clean and organized workstations and adhere to ESD-safe handling procedures
- Assist IT staff with basic troubleshooting of workstations and network devices
- Follow standard operating procedures and production workflows
- Support QA processes and assist with root cause analysis when defects are found
