Job Description:
The City of Minneapolis is seeking an ERP Program Manager with experience in large-scale software implementation projects impacting multiple departments. The ideal candidate should have prior experience managing Workday implementations in the public sector. Workday certifications are desired.
Specialty Areas:
ERP & Program Management – At least five years of program management experience handling large software implementations with major financial impacts.
Workday Implementation – At least two years of Workday implementation experience in a public sector/governmental setting.
Project & Change Management – Knowledge and ability to apply project/change management principles and methodologies.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Strong ability to engage stakeholders, manage expectations, and communicate effectively across all levels.
Technology & Business Operations – Experience managing the design, evaluation, selection, and deployment of IT solutions for cost-effective business operations.
Responsibilities:
Oversee large-scale Workday ERP implementation projects.
Ensure projects align with organizational goals and budgets.
Work with multiple departments and unions to implement solutions effectively.
Utilize project management tools such as MS Office, Smartsheet, and databases.
Facilitate and manage meetings, presentations, and stakeholder discussions.
Apply project and change management principles to support a smooth transition.
Address conflict resolution and ensure all teams work towards a common goal.
Provide decision-making support and maintain project efficiency.
