Pay:                   $17.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on qualifications

Description

The Hampshire Township Park District Extended Care (ETC) Lead Instructor is a seasonal (10 month) position Monday through Friday with duties both indoors and outdoors at Hampshire Elementary, Gary D. Wright Elementary, or Big Timber Elementary. Hours are from 1:45pm-5:45pm Monday through Friday. The position is no more than 20 hours per week, with holidays and school closings off, including inclement weather days. The Site Supervisor schedules and supervises staff, and is responsible for participating in crafts, games, activities and sports with school-age children in a multi-recreational after school program with instructors. The site supervisor is responsible for interacting with parents and school district 300 employees.

The Site Supervisor must be available to attend Staff meetings, trainings, evaluations, and orientations and will report to the Recreation Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.


• Present documentation of current CPR and first aid certification or be willing to finish CPR certification. Must complete mandated reporter certification.


• Must have experience in program management.
