Family Nurse Practitioner Float

Under the direction of the Physician Supervisor, the Physician Assistant Float (PA) provides health care services to patients who may have acute episodic conditions or chronic problems, as well as those seeking health evaluation, preventive care and/or education and counseling. The Physician Assistant Float also works closely with Health Center/Clinic Manager to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care at all TrueCare health center locations as assigned to fill in for vacations, emergencies etc.  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or equivalent experience   
• Graduate of a FNP Program approved by the California Board. 
• National Provider Identification Number (NPI). 
• Completion of a Controlled Substances Education Course. 
• Computer proficiency, particularly with Electronic Health/Medical Record systems and the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (may be required at some clinics). 
• Two (2) years’ work experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

If you are hired at TrueCare, your final base salary (within the pay range), will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members when determining any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
