Job Summary:
Empower Healthcare Management is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Floating Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team on a contract basis. This role requires flexibility and the ability to travel throughout Texas to provide interim nursing leadership support in long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Oversee nursing department operations in assigned facilities

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations

  
  


• 
  

  Provide leadership, support, and guidance to nursing staff

  
  


• 
  

  Stabilize departments during transitions in leadership

  
  


• 
  

  Promote high-quality resident care and staff education

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Must hold a current, valid RN license in Texas

  
  


• 
  

  Previous DON experience in long-term care required

  
  


• 
  

  Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  
  


• 
  

  Willingness to travel and work in various facility locations across the state
