Job Summary:
As the Fraud Prevention Unit Manager at the National Visa Center, you will supervise, coach and develop your team. You'll conduct interviews and make hiring decisions. You may be required to give briefings to visitors and participate in conference calls. Of critical importance is that you provide timely deliverables and fraud-related data to the U.S. State Department. In accordance with a U.S. State Department memo dated February 14, 2025, all employees have been directed to return to the office full-time as of March 17th, 2025.
In this role you will:
You may be required to perform other duties as assigned to advance the business unit’s mission. Additionally, occasional travel may be required.
Your Minimum Qualifications to be a Unit Manager:
You must successfully complete a credit and criminal background check and be able to obtain a Secret-level federal security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered for the SECRET federal security clearance.

While performing the duties of this job, you may occasionally be required to stand; walk; sit; lift up to 20 lbs.; bend; reach; carry; stoop; kneel; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers and hands to type or write; speak; or hear. Specific vision abilities may be required to perform the job which may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, or the ability to adjust focus.
