Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation between Tamil and English for a scheduled court hearing and related in‑court communication.

• Interpret accurately, completely, and impartially, following court ethics and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements

• Native or near‑native fluency in Tamil and English with strong legal terminology skills.

• Prior experience as a court or legal interpreter.

• Court certification will be required through voir dire and assessment of qualifications before the start of the proceeding.
