We are seeking an electrical engineering writer with a particular focus in printed circuit board engineering, design, and manufacturing who is also a well-rounded researcher with impeccable writing skills. You must be able to turn complex subject matters into thought leadership articles for the electrical engineering and manufacturing community that also appeal to the general public. You’ll work to understand the needs of the audience to produce branded solutions based on client requirements. You must be a self-motivated, deadline-driven team player who maintains high standards with a passion for writing.
Salary & Benefits:
This is a full-time telecommuting position with a starting salary range of $65,000 to $68,000 annually. Benefits include:
2 weeks of paid time off

Requirements:
Ideal candidates are industry professionals in the medical field and seasoned writers with practical experience in one or more of the following areas:
Integrated Circuit design
Circuit Simulation
Schematic capture
PCB layout
Design analysis
PCB fabrication
PCB assembly
PCB testing
Qualifications:
Technical writing experience, including data sheets, reports, or white papers, with a proven track record of independent research and content development.
Electronic technician or Engineering degree and/or experience, ideally in electrical engineering, computer science, or mechanical engineering.
Industry experience in circuit board design, schematic capture, PCB layout, testing, or manufacturing.
Punctuality, professionalism, and excellent time management skills.
A reliable internet connection and computer.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong background in electronic theory and practical application
Remote experience
Familiarity with industry tools used in the design of ICs, schematics, and PCBs
Duties:
Write 5 or more well-researched, medically accurate, engaging, and insightful articles for web publication.
Work collaboratively with your team to ensure every deliverable meets our high-quality standards and is perfected ahead of its due date.
Research your client’s industry and business needs to generate high-value keywords and topics.
Go beyond the basics: Identify new opportunities for research and development and share ideas with your industry team to add progressive value to each account.
Provide technical review and QA on articles in your area of expertise.
Prepare for and participate in client meetings.

Required to utilize Google Docs, Taskworld, and the internet for 8 hours per day
Required to structure environment conducive to productivity
Required to have consistent access to a computer, webcam, and microphone during working hours.
