Garage/Trailer Associate

Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Garage/Trailer Associate to assist in our busy trucking garage. This seasonal position will support our trailer repair and vinyl wrapping teams. It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the transportation and maintenance industry.  

Requirements

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist technicians with basic trailer repairs, including: 
• Replacing lights, mud flaps, and hardware 
• Minor bodywork prep (e.g., sanding, cleaning) 
• Loading and unloading parts and materials 
• Support the vinyl wrap team with: 
• Surface preparation (washing, degreasing, drying) 
• Handling vinyl materials and tools 
• Applying or removing decals under supervision 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop and work areas 
• Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE 
• Perform other general shop duties as assigned 

Qualifications: 

• Must be at least 18 years old 
• Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in auto/truck repair is a plus 
• Ability to use hand tools and follow instructions 
• Willingness to learn and take initiative 
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks 
• Punctual, dependable, and a team player 

Schedule & Compensation: 

• Full-time or part-time (flexible summer hours) 
• Monday–Friday 
• Hourly wage: $15-$16/hr
