GoLang Developer, Czech based

We are looking for an experienced GoLang Developer to join an international project focused on building web application used across 9 countries. The role offers the opportunity to work with modern cloud-native technologies, take ownership of backend services, and contribute to designing scalable solutions in a DevOps culture.

Location: Czech Republic (office visits in Prague)
Start Date: ASAP
Engagement: Full-time, 8 hours per day

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain backend components of an administrative web application used across multiple countries.
• Participate in all development stages, from design to implementation and deployment.
• Contribute to designing and improving software architecture.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of applications following DevOps principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and ensure seamless integration with frontend and cloud services.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:
• 4+ years of proven experience in backend development with Golang.
• Knowledge of software architecture design and backend systems.
• Experience with cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes nice to have).
• Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
• Solid understanding of monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry).

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps culture.
• Familiarity with additional services (OpsGenie, Docker Compose, etc.).
