Greenskeeper - Seasonal

Participate in daily maintenance and any construction on the golf course and surrounds, clubhouse surrounds, tennis facility, turf care center, pier system, and any landscaping or planting bed. 

Responsibilities  

1. Participate in maintaining the aesthetic, health and cleanliness of all areas within the operation of the department.

2. Maintain the standards of playability on the golf course as set by the Golf Course Superintendent.

3. Maintain communication and cooperation with Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

4. Strive to be as productive as possible. Show initiative and actively participate to meet the standards of the department.

5. Operate equipment safely and only as trained by a supervisor.

6. Alert Golf Course Superintendent to any employee issues effecting work performance.

7. Alert management when restock of materials is needed to maintain department operations and Turf Care Center functionality (furnishings, personal protective equipment, chemicals, paint and stain, tools, cleaning supplies, kitchen needs, fire extinguishers, eye wash stations etc.).

8. Coordinate and communicate with any contracted services performed on department controlled areas.

9. Portray a positive image of the club by dressing appropriately and safely.

10. Ensure confidentiality of all club member and employee information and records.

11. Maintain appropriate attendance and avoid tardiness.

Physical Demands- Extended periods of standing, walking, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds. 

Mental Demands- Individuals must be able to operate small equipment safely and efficiently after sufficient training time and supervision. 

Environmental Demands- Exposure to chemicals, elements (extreme heat, cold etc.), and outdoor pest (insects, poisonous plants etc).
