Groundskeeper II

Position: Groundskeeper 2

Department: Grounds

Primary Responsibilities:
•Seasonal mowing, edging, weed eating, blowing, etc.
•Tree and plant demo / installation
•Mulching
•Hand watering of large landscape beds, trees and sod areas
•Daily maintenance of annual flower beds
•Practicing safety daily with use of equipment and hand tools

Normal Working Hours:
•7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with exception of snow removal and special projects
•Saturday and Sunday work may vary

Work Experience:
•Prefer(not required) to have at least 2 years landscape experience
•Must be able to operate mowing equipment such as but not limited to mowers, weed eaters, edger’s, blowers, etc.
•Proven to have the will to take initiative and demonstrate landscape competency daily

Educational Requirements:
•Must have High School Diploma or GED

Communication Skills:
•Thorough understanding of Forbes Five Star standards and service
•Self motivating daily which demonstrates the quality and efficiency expected by management
