The Sandra and Leon Levine Jewish Community Center is a non-profit, social service agency founded upon Jewish ethics and values. The Center provides and initiates diversified social, educational, recreational and cultural programs within a Jewish setting. The JCC is a partner in serving the community, is affiliated with the JCC Association of North America and a beneficiary agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte. 

The Tai Chi Instructor SUB will lead and motivate participants in a group setting through this ancient Chinese martial art that has evolved into a gentle, low-impact form of exercise, often described as "meditation in motion.” Tai Chi involves a series of deliberate, flowing movements practiced while focusing on deep, slow breaths, aiming to balance the body's Qi (vital energy).   

Requirements

• Must be able to teach on Thursdays from 11:40am – 12:40pm.
• Tai Chi Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• One-year experience teaching Tai Chi in a group setting.      
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to respond to emails and texts in a timely manner (within 24 hours).
