Head Coach, 3Up 3Down Baseball

Description

3Up 3Down Baseball is seeking a Head Coach for the upcoming baseball season. Our teams practice at the EL1 Reading (former DeLucia Baseball Academy). EL1 Sports is the proud youth baseball and softball training partner of Major League Baseball.
The Head Baseball Coach is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the baseball program. This includes recruiting, coaching, and developing student-athletes, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the program. The Head Coach must be a strong leader with a passion for baseball and a commitment to excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and implement the team's practice schedule
• Coach and develop student-athletes in all aspects of the game
• Recruit and evaluate prospective student-athletes
• Manage the team's budget and travel arrangements
• Represent the team and program to the media and public
• Administer the team's rules and regulations
• Promote a positive and supportive team culture
• Assist in the preparation, setup, and breakdown of equipment for training programs and events
• Attend staff meetings, instructor meetings, and company events, as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
• Previous experience coaching baseball at the high school or college level
• Strong knowledge of the game of baseball
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to excellence and student-athlete development
