Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays | 8:00 AM – 12:45 PM

What You’ll Do
As a Simply Ed Biology Teacher’s Assistant, you will:
- Support biology teachers in delivering engaging, hands-on science lessons and lab activities.
- Provide one-on-one and small group academic support to students.
- Help manage classroom routines and labs, fostering an inclusive and safe environment.
- Assist with preparing lab materials, grading, and organizing classroom resources.
- Monitor student progress and share observations with the teacher.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to meet student needs.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking individuals who are:
- Passionate about helping students learn and grow, especially in the sciences.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to showing up every day.
- Great communicators and collaborative team players.
- Experienced with children (formally or informally) — school experience preferred, but training is provided.
- Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field.
- Able to adapt to different learning environments and student needs.
- Cleared (or eligible for clearance) through DOE PETS background check and fingerprinting.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
