Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a LTC PT for a travel contract position in St. Charles, MO. Accepting both local and traveler candidates

Position Details:

Position Name: Physical Therapist - Long Term Care

Contract Length: 13 weeks 

Pay Rate: $2400 Weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: PT, LTC

Shifts available: Days

Schedule: 5 X 8-hr shifts, 40 hours/week guaranteed, M-F, No weekends or call

Position Requirements:

• Physical Therapist Experience: 1 year - Required
  


• PTA experience in LTC or rehab setting: Preferred
  


• Prior Travel contracts experience – Preferred
  


• Valid DL and Covid Vaccination Proof
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• PT License for State of MO or Compact - Required
  


• BLS Certifications from AHA  - Required
  

Job Description:

• Physical therapists evaluate posture, gait, balance, coordination and strength to develop a treatment plan with the goal of helping the patient regain mobility and independence.
  


• After identifying areas of strength and weakness, a physical therapist may work to improve a patient’s independence with tasks such as getting up from a chair or climbing stairs.
  


• Leads, guides and directs the delivery of physical therapy services in the facility in accordance with local, state and federal regulations, standards and established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents
