Pay Rate: $2484 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 36\-hour work week (Includes Non\-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: ER
Shifts available: Nights
Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00 pm \- 7.30 am
Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, three shifts per week, Any 3 days of the week, including every other weekend. Holiday rotation when required
Position Requirements:
- Current ER/ED experience in a hospital setting: 3 years \- Required
- Minimum 3 months of travel/contract experience \- Required
- Must have own transportation
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN â Required
- BSN â Highly preferred
- RN License for State of Vermont or Compact \- Required
- BLS, ACLS Certifications from AHA \- Required
Job Description:
- Provide Nursing Care in ER/ED
- Incorporate the appropriate assessment and intervention skills, utilizing the nursing process, in the delivery of nursing care on their unit for a specified group of patients on a designated shift.
- Communicate with patients, team members and management in an accurate and timely manner using written and verbal skills effectively and considerately.
- Promote compassionate, efficient, cost\-effective and quality patient care.
- Incorporate teaching principles into practice and demonstrate competence in health promotion and disease prevention.
- Demonstrate qualities consistent with the role of applying leadership skills appropriately.
- Apply critical thinking skills and consider alternatives in the delivery of patient care.
- Develop and maintain human care relationships and integrate the influence of the human experience of health, illness and/or healing.
- Apply knowledge integration skills for the patient populations served within the assigned unit/s.
