Home Care RN

Always Best Care Alexandria is seeking a Registered Nurse for our in-home care company. This vital position reports to the Administrator and is responsible for preparing thorough and accurate initial assessments/reassessments and developing personalized care plans for our clients. This part-time/PRN position is ideal for someone who desires meaningful work with flexible hours. 

Benefits:

• Part-time/PRN position


• Flexible work hours (weekday, weekend, and evening hours available)

Compensation:

• $75 per assessment


• $65 per reassessment

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Makes the initial evaluation visit and regularly re-evaluates the client’s needs.


• Develops the plan of care and makes necessary revisions.


• Informs the administrator, physician, and other relevant personnel of changes in the client’s condition and needs.


• Assists the administrator with assessing the competency of caregiver staff to promote quality, continuity, and safety of client care.


• Supervises, educates, and coaches other personnel (i.e. Certified Home Health Aides) as directed by the administrator.


• Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.

Qualifications:

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in nursing from a state-approved or accredited program;


• Must be in good standing with the Virginia Board of Nursing;


• Possess a valid Driver’s License and able to travel to clients’ homes;


• Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience or home care experience, preferred;


• Minimum of one (1) year supervising experience, preferred;
