Responsibilities:
- Human Resources Support:
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, benefits enrollment, and exit interviews.
- Maintain and update personnel records in both digital and physical formats.
- Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and preparing offer letters.
- Help coordinate training sessions, performance reviews, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Respond to routine HR inquiries from employees regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Personnel Security Support:
- Assist in processing and tracking security clearances, background investigations, and suitability determinations in accordance with government regulations (e.g., DoD, NISPOM, FISMA).
- Maintain personnel security files and ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies.
- Coordinate with government security offices, contractors, and internal stakeholders on clearance status and investigation timelines.
- Monitor and update clearance databases (e.g., DISS, e-QIP) and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
- Support the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in audits, inspections, and reporting.
