Job Description - Infrastructure Design Coordinator

Location: Harrisburg, PA
Position Type: Hybrid
Hybrid Schedule: Schedule TBD
Contract Length: Long-term with annual extensions

Position Overview:
The Infrastructure Design Coordinator is responsible for designing, modifying, and optimizing building infrastructure layouts to support A/V systems, telecommunications, IoT devices, and network connectivity. This role collaborates cross-functionally to ensure space planning designs are functional, efficient, and aligned with organizational infrastructure and workplace solutions goals.

Duties:

Develop and modify floorplans to support A/V systems, video conferencing, IoT devices, and network drops
Apply knowledge of building infrastructure, construction processes, and architectural drawings to design efforts
Identify design issues and propose effective solutions within space optimization and utilization projects
Participate in space design and planning meetings, providing input and technical guidance
Serve as a liaison between Workplace Solutions management and cross-functional teams
Utilize Bluebeam Revu and other design software to create and update infrastructure layouts
Coordinate with real estate teams, contractors, vendors, and lessors involved in design and construction efforts
Collaborate with Enterprise Telecom, Network Operations, and Video Conferencing teams to ensure infrastructure alignment

Required Skills:

2+ years of experience with building infrastructure, construction processes, and interpreting architectural drawings
2+ years of experience applying problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions within space planning designs
2+ years of proficiency using Bluebeam Revu and related design software
2+ years of experience designing and modifying floorplans for A/V, telecom, IoT, and network infrastructure
