Job Description - Instrument Technician


For Instrumentation services in the Utilities & Maintenance area.

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

  • Associate Degree with two (2) years of experience in industrial mechanics within the pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish).
  • Project Management skills.
  • Shift: 12 hrs rotational shift and according to business needs.
    • 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
    • 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Experience in:
    • Execution of calibration PM, repair activities and troubleshooting equipment and system.
    • Calibrations will be performed UV, Temperature, Pressure, Weight, Conductivity, pH.
    • Manufacturing and utilities process design.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Perform routine inspection, calibration, and functional testing of instrumentation and control devices. 
  • Troubleshoot issues with sensors, transmitters, controllers, and automated systems. 
  • Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to site procedures. 
  • Document all work performed, including calibration records, adjustments, and equipment status. 
  • Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and equipment qualification activities as required. 
  • Coordinate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve instrumentation issues. 
  • Verify proper operation of instrumentation after maintenance or equipment changes. 
  • Maintain tools, test equipment, and spare parts in good condition and follow all safety and GMP guidelines.
