Inventory Project Assistant

Position Summary

The Inventory Assistant supports the day-to-day management of warehouse inventory at BP Supply, Inc. This role ensures accurate tracking, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials and supplies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, labeling, and stocking incoming materials and supplies.
• Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records in the company’s inventory management system.
• Prepare, package, and stage materials for outgoing orders.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or overages to supervisors.
• Ensure warehouse and storage areas remain clean, safe, and organized.
• Support audits and compliance checks for inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment safely (training provided if needed).
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure efficient supply flow.

 Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Prior experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain operations preferred.
• Basic computer skills; experience with inventory or ERP systems a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

• Full-time position based in Midland, TX. But will be available to all locations Andrews, Lamesa, and Monahans.  
• Primarily warehouse environment with some office-based inventory tracking tasks.
• Safety gear (PPE) required in designated areas.
