Job Description - IT Analyst

Job Location: Vienna, VA / Pensacola, FL (Hybrid)

Note: Local candidates only. This is a hybrid role. Open to USC, GC, GC-EAD, TN holders.

Job Description:

SMK Soft is seeking an experienced IT Analyst to support Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU). This hybrid role focuses on Identity and Access Management (IAM), user provisioning lifecycle, and operational streamlining. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IGA platforms like Saviynt or SailPoint, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset toward automation and process improvement.

Specialty Areas:

• Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) – End-to-end user and application provisioning using tools such as Saviynt or SailPoint.

• Customer Service & Stakeholder Support – High-quality interpersonal skills, preferably with experience interacting with executive-level personnel.

• Business Process Optimization – Analytical mindset to identify inefficiencies and drive operational improvements.

• Technical Access Control – Familiarity with tools like AD, LDAP, RACF, and scripting to automate identity-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Execute identity lifecycle operations and application provisioning tasks.

• Collaborate with internal teams to assess and streamline existing workflows.

• Provide responsive support and direct engagement with various personnel tiers.

• Identify and implement process automation opportunities using scripting tools.

• Develop and manage technical documentation, access roles, and permissions.

• Use ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow) to process and manage access requests.

• Maintain compliance and accuracy across identity management systems.

• Familiarity with mainframe, directory services, and access solutions

• Experience working with financial institutions or government clients
