Jr Project Manager

Position Summary

Avum seeks a skilled Junior Project Manager to assist with project planning, coordination, monitoring, and documentation.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Support PMO operations by maintaining project documentation, updating schedules, logging risks and issues, and assisting with quality and scope tracking. 
• Prepare basic project reports and dashboards under supervision. 
• Gain foundational experience in project management functions and PMO tools while learning best practices from senior team members.
• Ability to learn new applications and related business processes to document/communicate the system gaps with customer requirements.
• Address customer questions related to the systems/applications, research open requests, and reach out to external contacts for answers.
• Generate internal and customer-requested documentation, including user guides, system requirements/details, white papers, business process descriptions, and support other general writing activities.

Required Qualifications:

• US Citizenship with active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.
• Ability to be onsite 100% in Chantilly, VA in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
• Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on problems of limited scope.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
