JT323 - INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

• Responsible for performing/providing calibration, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and documentation of instruments, process control systems, and equipment used in manufacturing, utility plants, and analytical labs. 
• Perform basic calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment.
• Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working spare parts inventory system for the equipment/ systems the team is responsible for.
• Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files and work order documentation is completed with accurate information.
• Participate in a detailed training program in order to develop ones knowledge in the instrumentation field and other areas of the plant.
• Assist in the development, revision, and updating of related SOPs for work related areas.
• Configure and repair microprocessor based instruments and controllers.
• Basic troubleshooting and repair of process control and laboratory instruments.
• All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and client's policies.
• Perform regular certification of equipment to verify conformance to industry standards and client's procedures.
• Maintain an up to date cGMP training book.
• Plan and schedule own work activities with operations staff to minimize impact to production activities.

• Associate degree in Instrumentation
• Two (2) years of instrument experience
• craftsperson knowledgeable of pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic instrumentation.
• Has received training or hands on experience in such specialized subjects as analog and/or digital electronics, microprocessors and/or computers, and the operation and maintenance of particular lines of field instrumentation.
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas through verbal and written form
• Intermediate computer skills
• Knowledge of Work order on Maximo
• Non-Standard Shift
