QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing/providing calibration, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and documentation of instruments, process control systems, and equipment used in manufacturing, utility plants, and analytical labs.
Perform basic calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment.
Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working spare parts inventory system for the equipment/ systems the team is responsible for.
Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files and work order documentation is completed with accurate information.
Participate in a detailed training program in order to develop ones knowledge in the instrumentation field and other areas of the plant.
Assist in the development, revision, and updating of related SOPs for work related areas.
Configure and repair microprocessor based instruments and controllers.
Basic troubleshooting and repair of process control and laboratory instruments.
All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and client's policies.
Perform regular certification of equipment to verify conformance to industry standards and client's procedures.
Maintain an up to date cGMP training book.
Plan and schedule own work activities with operations staff to minimize impact to production activities.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Instrumentation
Two (2) years of instrument experience
craftsperson knowledgeable of pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic instrumentation.
Has received training or hands on experience in such specialized subjects as analog and/or digital electronics, microprocessors and/or computers, and the operation and maintenance of particular lines of field instrumentation.
Ability to effectively communicate ideas through verbal and written form
Intermediate computer skills
Knowledge of Work order on Maximo
