Jt531 - Sr. Associate Eh&S

• Provide technical expertise for the management of Environmental Health & Safety programs at client.
• Under minimal supervision, perform EH&S duties for program design, development and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S federal, state and local regulations.
• Evaluate existing and new regulations.
• Develops new programs and implement changes as necessary.
• Interface with EH&S regulatory agencies.
• Be recognized as a program liaison to external agencies.
• Prepare for and conduct inspections with agency representatives present.
• Prepare reports, responses to inquiries and conduct monitoring.
• Design, develop and implement EH&S programs.
• Maintain & continuously improve EH&S programs to support day-to-day operations.
• Assess EH&S practices to management term liability for planning, acquisitions, etc.
• Design, develop and implement training programs.
• Deliver training to employees on workplace hazards, safe work practices, and health protection measures.
• Implement & document procedures/policies.
• Determine impact of new operations/processes/capital projects upon the EH&S programs.
• Develop program changes necessary to support business objectives.
• Analyse existing and future processes to identify cost-effective solutions to reduce EH&S impacts. 
• Design and implement programs for conducting periodic audits/inspections.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analyses related to occupational exposures.

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of directly related experience
• Software experience: Cority, Humantech, 3E.
• Conduct exposure assessments for chemical, physical, and biological hazards such as air sampling, noise survey and dosimetry.
• Provide Subject Matter expertise and specialist support in assigned areas and programs. These may include Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Chemical Management, Hazard Communication, Ergonomics, and any other defined Programs, as necessary.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software systems.
• Must have good technical & business writing skills and good communication and team skills.
• Certification Required: Medical Certification for Respiratory Use.
• Administrative Shift - 8:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday).
• Special support for 3rd shift may be required.
