Seeking Experienced Land Agents – Central Illinois (Local Only)
Contract Opportunity | Immediate Start Preferred

We are looking to hire 1–3 experienced Land Agents to support a high-priority transmission project near Springfield, IL. This opportunity involves acquiring easements along a transmission right-of-way. The project is mobilizing immediately, and timely easement acquisition is critical.

Key Details:

• Location: Christian County, IL (local candidates only; no per diem available)


• Duration: Through August, with potential for extension


• Travel: Local travel required (within a 1-hour radius preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate with landowners and secure transmission easements


• Maintain clear and professional landowner communications


• Coordinate with project leadership to meet key milestones


• Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in the field

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in land acquisition, right-of-way, or utility infrastructure projects


• Demonstrated ability to manage negotiations and meet tight deadlines


• Familiarity with Central Illinois, especially the Springfield area


• Reliable transportation and ability to start immediately

Additional Information:

• This is a 1099 independent contractor position and is not eligible for employee benefits.


• While listed under the entire state of Illinois, this role supports projects located in Central Illinois.
