Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Rehab/Med-Surg
Shift: 12-hour Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
Contract: 8 Weeks | Start Date: 3/9
Schedule: Every other weekend & holidays required | No block scheduling

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in Rehab and Medical-Surgical units

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

• Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition

• Perform wound care, catheter care, and basic IV therapy per scope of practice

• Assist patients with mobility, hygiene, and daily activities

• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system

• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols

Requirements:

• Active LPN license

• Minimum 1–2 years of recent clinical experience

• BLS certification required

• Rehab or Med-Surg experience preferred
