Job Description - Licensed Specialist in School Psychology

Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology to provide services to students at a school district in Jasper, Texas. The ideal candidates will provide psychological evaluations and support services in the educational environment, including assessments, consultation, and support for students with special needs, in accordance with established standards of care, district policies and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Valid Texas license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

• Interpret assessment results to inform educational planning and decision-making.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to gather relevant information for assessments.

• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to support students' academic and behavioral success.

• Provide consultation to teachers and staff regarding effective classroom strategies and accommodations.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans as needed.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to students experiencing emotional or behavioral crises.

• Maintain confidential records in accordance with district policies.

• Provide services in compliance with established guidelines and standards of care.

• Any other duties as assigned.
