Adelphi is seeking highly qualified and credentialed Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSPs) to provide psychological services, evaluations, and IEP-related support to students in school settings across Texas. The ideal candidate will be experienced in conducting psychoeducational assessments, participating in multidisciplinary teams, and providing mental health and behavioral consultation services in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
• Experience conducting Full and Individual Evaluations (FIEs), including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments.
• Strong understanding of culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices.
• Experience in Texas public school settings preferred.
• Familiarity with ARD/IEP processes and documentation standards.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services under IDEA and Section 504.
• Prepare written evaluation reports in accordance with state and district timelines and legal standards.
• Participate in ARD and 504 meetings, presenting findings and assisting with eligibility determinations, goal setting, and placement recommendations.
• Provide consultation to educators, families, and school staff regarding student behavior, mental health, and educational interventions.
• Design and support implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs), functional behavior assessments (FBAs), and crisis interventions.
• Deliver counseling services to students as indicated in IEPs, focusing on emotional, behavioral, and social development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, SLPs, OTs, diagnosticians, and administrators.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local policies governing documentation, timelines, and ethical standards.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in school psychology.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by district or agency leadership.
