Eliada is seeking Lifeguards whose seasonal employment (June, July, August) will directly and indirectly impact the lives and needs of our students, their families, and our community. Eliada has offered rewarding, impactful, and meaningful work for over 100 years making us one of the longest running nonprofits in the Asheville area and the state of North Carolina. 

The Lifeguard is charged with the responsibility of the pool and its use for all individuals on campus. 

Pay Rate: $15.00+ / hour

Major Responsibilities:

1. Observe individuals in pool area.

2. Rescue individuals from drowning.

3. Maintain proper water and chemical levels in the pool.

4. Maintain a clean and safe pool.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years old.

Required Certifications: Lifeguarding, CPR/First Aid/AED (Eliada may provide training if needed)

Experience: Preferably a minimum of 1 year experience as a lifeguard.
