Job Description - Locum CRNA Needed in Southwestern New Mexico

Job Title: Locum CRNA  

Employment Status: 1099

Location: Southwestern New Mexico

Duration: 3-6 months, ongoing, starting September 1

Shifts: 7am - 3pm

Call: 3pm - 7am, every 4th night and every 4th weekend, call response time is 30 minutes

Job Type: Locum/Contract

Case Types: Endo, OB/GYN, general, ortho, limited acute pain management

Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days, but temps are available with a clear background / malpractice history and unrestricted license

Special Requirements: DEA and CSR required. Must have case logs with proof of epidurals, spinals and blocks. NRP required. 

Supervision Model: Independent

Job SummaryAccess Healthcare Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Locum CRNA to provide comprehensive anesthetic care across a variety of clinical settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent decision-making skills, and a patient-centered approach to care. This opportunity offers the flexibility of a locum arrangement while being part of a collaborative and respected medical team.

Requirements


● Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on
Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
● Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in New Mexico.
● Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as
a CRNA, with proficiency in endo, OB/GYN, general, ortho, limited acute pain management.
● Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia
management for diverse patient populations.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact
with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
● Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver
optimal patient care.
● BLS and ACLS certification required (PALS required for
pediatric settings)
