Locum General Dentist

Capozzi Dental is seeking a Locum General Dentist to provide coverage from March through June 2026. Capozzi Dental is part of Verber Dental Group, a trusted, doctor-owned dental healthcare system dedicated to providing exceptional care to our community. We offer a full range of dental services in a comfortable and welcoming environment, with patient satisfaction as our top priority. This locum opportunity is ideal for a skilled and compassionate General Dentist interested in short-term coverage within a collaborative, well-supported clinical environment. For candidates who are interested, there is potential for long-term placement within Verber Dental Group following the locum assignment.

Position Details:

Coverage Needed from March–June 2026

Schedule: Full-Time preferred Monday-Friday (flexibility may be considered)

Office Hours:

Monday & Tuesday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 am-3:00 pm  

Friday: 8:00 am-3:00 pm 

Support: Experienced dental assistants, EFDAs, hygienists, and the administrative team

The office was recently renovated in the Fall of 2025

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine dental procedures including exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions
• Diagnose and treat dental conditions using advanced techniques and technologies
• Develop and carry out personalized treatment plans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Collaborate closely with the clinical and administrative team to ensure a positive patient experience

Compensation & Benefits:

• $1,100 daily minimum plus bonus!
• Potential opportunity for future long-term placement within Verber Dental Group (if interested)

Qualifications: 

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Valid state dental license and current DEA registration.
• Proven experience in performing a wide range of dental procedures with proficiency and precision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
