Long-Term Substitute Science Teacher

Currently hiring Long-Term Substitute Science Teacher needed for the Newark Area.] for immediate placement.

The ideal candidate will possess some classroom experience or experience working with children in general and hold a bachelor’s degree, preferred in Science.

Responsibilities of the Substitute Teacher 9-12

• Follow all school policies, rules, and procedures.


• In the absence of the regular classroom teacher, help students to learn subject matter and/or skills that are required for scheduled lessons and to provide meaningful instruction for assigned classrooms.


• Carry out lessons according to the primary teachers/administration instructions.


• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.


• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom.

Hours: 6:45 AM - 2:45 PM, Mon-Fri
