LPN/LVN Clinic in Marshall, MI with $1720 Weekly Gross

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a LPN/LVN for a travel/contract position in Marshall, MI. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Pay Rate: Range $1680 to $1720 weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Clinic

Shifts available: Days

Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week, M-F, with some weekend availability if needed.

• LPN/LVN experience: 2+ years - Required
  


• LPN/LVN experience in a clinic setting: 2+ years – Required
  


• Travel experience - Highly preferred 

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• LPN License for State of MI - Required
  


• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC - Required 
  

Job Description:

• Provides all aspects of LPN duties in a clinic setting
  


• Greeting and escorting patients to the exam room.
  


• Obtains and records vital signs, height and weight, medical and medication history.
  


• Documents all medical information appropriate and accurately in the EMR. Sends records to Health Information Management, as needed.
  


• Prepares patients for examination/procedure and ensures patient flow.
  


• Assists provider and nursing staff as guided.
  


• Implement medical orders in a safe and proper manner.
  


• Collects specimens and properly labels, administer immunizations and medication via various routes (IM, SQ, Oral, Nasal), as directed by the provider.
  


• Maintain rooms, equipment and supplies to uphold standard precautions.
  


• Answer telephones ensuring to handle customer inquiries promptly and appropriately.
  


• Schedule appointments, process referrals and prior authorizations.
  


• Register patients, ensuring accuracy, collection and scanning of proper documents, and all required registration steps are followed.
