Courier – Government Mail Contract (Albuquerque, NM)
Company: SOS Logistics
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Early Morning Shift (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM)
Compensation: Competitive – based on experience and qualifications
Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

Job Overview:
SOS Logistics is seeking a reliable and professional Courier to perform daily pickup and delivery of federal mail between designated government locations in Albuquerque. This position is part of a federal contract with the Bureau of Trust Funds Administration (BTFA). The ideal candidate is punctual, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining strict confidentiality and security of all mail items.

Daily Route:

Pickup Location: USPS, 1135 Broadway Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM

Drop-off Location: 4400 Masthead Street NE, Albuquerque, NM

Schedule: Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays

Hours: Pickup and delivery must occur between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident

Must pass a Low Risk Background Investigation (FBI fingerprinting + name check)

Fluent in English

Must have access to a reliable, clean, steel-framed vehicle with doors that lock securely

Vehicle must be registered in NM and meet all safety standards

Must maintain commercial auto insurance (or be willing to obtain it)

Must be dependable, organized, and capable of following federal delivery standards

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior courier, delivery, or mailroom experience

Experience working under federal or government contracts

Knowledge of Albuquerque routes and postal locations
