Rate: Travel: $1,408/40-hours Local: $1,356/40-hours

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience.

Bachelor’s degree OR

High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience in the mental health or a related field OR

Mental Health Specialist certificate.

Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and assistance to patients in accordance with established treatment plans and behavior management strategies.

Demonstrate the ability to assess and respond to patient needs based on age, development, and mental health conditions.

Monitor, document, and report patient behavior, progress, and any significant changes to the healthcare team.

Build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families to encourage trust, engagement, and positive outcomes.

Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient safety at all times.

Operate and maintain medical equipment necessary for patient care.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to review and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
