Merchandising Associate - Temporary Position

National Vision is seeking a Temporary Merchandising Associate to join our Merchandising team. This short-term role will support essential merchandising functions, including JDA-related operations, retail data management, and assist in preparing merchandise presentation. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, a foundational understanding of retail lifecycles, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily merchandising tasks and updates in JDA.
• Support the contact lens team on various merchandising projects.
• Assist in preparing visual and data-driven merchandising presentations.
• Enter, analyze, and report data using Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools.
• Maintain product lifecycle tracking and support basic retail processes.
• Occasionally engage in hands-on merchandising requiring the ability to lift 10 lbs (less than 10% of the time).

Qualifications & Skills

• Familiarity with retail concepts and product lifecycles.
• Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups) and Office Suite.
• Experience with JDA is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Oracle is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills for team collaboration and interaction with store teams.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
