Contract Opportunity: Music Therapist
Behavioral Health Organization Specializing in Eating Disorders
Locations: PHP – Matthews, NC & RTC – Monroe, NC

We are currently seeking a Contract Music Therapist to facilitate group music therapy sessions at our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Matthews and our Residential Treatment Center (RTC) in Monroe, NC. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a multidisciplinary team, supporting clients on their journey to recovery from eating disorders.

Responsibilities include:

• Facilitate  up to 4 group music therapy sessions (weekly) in alignment with ethical standards and within the scope of your professional training.


• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy from an American Music Therapy Association (AMTA)-approved program


• Completion of a 1,080-hour internship in Music Therapy


• At least one (1) year of experience in a behavioral health setting
