Natural Programmer

Job Description:

Rice F.W. Technologies is seeking an experienced Natural Programmer to join the State of New Jersey's team for a critical role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Natural Programming, ADABAS Database, and Job Control Language (JCL). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a complex project, with potential for hybrid work after an initial onsite period.

Specialty Areas:

• Natural Programming – Expertise in developing and maintaining applications using Natural language.
  

• ADABAS Database – Proficient in handling ADABAS databases for data management and retrieval.
  

• Job Control Language (JCL) – Skilled in writing and managing JCL scripts for job automation.
  

• TSO/ISPF – Strong experience using TSO/ISPF for z/OS environments.
  

• Project Leadership – Proven ability to lead projects effectively and manage resources to meet objectives.
  

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using Natural Programming and ADABAS.
  

• Write and manage JCL scripts for automation of tasks.
  

• Work with TSO/ISPF for managing z/OS systems.
  

• Lead projects, ensuring timely completion and coordination with teams.
  

• Provide status updates and document progress in MS Word and MS Excel.
  

Skill Matrix:

Mandatory Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in programming and IT.
  

• Recent experience with Natural and ADABAS.
  

• Proficient in JCL, TSO/ISPF, and leading projects.
  

• Available for onsite work in Trenton, NJ for the first month.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with State Government projects is a plus.
  

• Strong proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel for documentation.
