About the Role:
Augustine Angels is seeking experienced NFPA Training Instructors to deliver professional training for healthcare facility staff under a federal contract with the Indian Health Service. Instructors will teach National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes to engineers, facility managers, safety officers, and compliance staff across the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person (1–4 days) and live webinar (1–4 hours) training sessions.
- Provide instruction in NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code) and NFPA 99 (Healthcare Facilities Code), plus other codes such as NFPA 13, 25, 70, 70B, 70E, 72, and 110.
- Prepare course agendas, handouts, and exercises.
- Administer quizzes, facilitate discussions, and issue certificates of completion.
- Travel as needed for onsite training (all travel costs covered).
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience with NFPA codes, building systems, and healthcare facility compliance.
- Prior teaching/training experience (adult learning experience required).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- NFPA instructor certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to conduct both classroom and virtual training.
