Nursing Adjunct Faculty Description

South College Dallas Learning Site, located in Farmers Branch, TX, is conducting a search for the position of adjunct clinical instructor for the Nursing Department. This role involves teaching in clinical sites in Dallas and surrounding counties in Texas and/or skills lab settings on campus in Farmers Branch, TX. Clinical shifts will be 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on course needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lab or clinical experiences that allow all students to achieve course objectives.
• Ensure that all academic program requirements and forms of documentation are completed as required for each student and submitted per established deadlines.
• Submit accurate attendance/academic participation rosters as prescribed by the institution.
• Submit an official grade sheet at the end of each quarter for each course taught.
• Follow the course coordinator’s lead in terms of clinical skills to practice
• Be reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• MSN preferred. 
• A BSN with significant clinical experience in area of assignment may be considered.

Experience

• Prefer experience in secondary instruction.
