Nursing Clinical Adjunct Description

South College Orlando learning site located in Orlando, FL, is conducting a search for the position of adjunct nursing faculty (instructor/assistant professor/associate professor; commensurate with experience) for the South College School of Nursing. This role involves teaching at clinical sites in Volusia County, FL and the surrounding areas. The position will have clinical instruction responsibilities in the BSN and/or LPN program based on educational level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional standards of practice in teaching in the clinical settings.
• Collaborate with course faculty and works closely with program and clinical coordinators.
• Facilitate effective learning and critical thinking/reasoning during clinical while fostering a positive learning environment.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationship with clinical agencies where indicated.
• Monitor student progress with evaluations and grades care plans as assigned. Provides positive and constructive feedback if needed.
• Maintain currency in education and nursing knowledge and application through continuing education activities.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Master's degree preferred

Licensure

• Hold an unrestricted license to practice

Experience

• Experience in secondary instruction preferred
