Occupational Therapist

Join University Home Care Inc as an Occupational Therapist serving Taylor, MI and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will provide individualized therapy to help patients improve their daily living skills and regain independence following illness, injury, or surgery. You will work closely with patients and their families to develop tailored treatment plans that enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities to create personalized occupational therapy plans.


• Provide skilled therapy interventions in patients' homes or other settings as needed.


• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.


• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan.


• Experience in home health therapy preferred.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within Taylor and surrounding areas.


• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
